SaaS and PaaS

Software as a Service or SaaS is an on-top application that is delivered through Web-based pay-as-you-go and subscription. The SaaS model may be acquired on an ad hoc basis. In the past, some SaaS services came unrecognized and, by design, were hidden behind certain software applications. In the recent years, however, SaaS increased in number, gradually becoming noted for a user interface that is essentially embeddable.
